Following her divorce Ann was able to create art work at her own pace. She travelled further afield, drawing and painting on location over consecutive days. Persistently urged by friends and family to exhibit Ann preferred to paint for her own pleasure and steered away from committing herself to any one particular style or subject. During this period she sold many paintings to people who came across her working on location.
