Early Work

“I was fortunate enough to paint and draw what I wanted to. I enjoyed being outside and painting on location. It meant I could leave behind my domestic responsibilities and immerse myself in what ever subject matter I was painting or drawing at the time. Painting enabled me to be on my own and to express my creative side. Knowing I could draw and paint helped me to deal with everything I found challenging about life."
